SAN PEDRO SEEDLINGS 1/2 TO 3 INCHES TALL

from $2.00

PLEASE READ. DUE TO VERY LIMITED QUANTITY, MANY VARIETIES HAVE AN ORDER LIMIT PER CUSTOMER, STATED AS 1 PER, 2 PER ETC. IN THE DROP DOWN MENU. THIS MEANS ONE OR TWO PER CUSTOMER. IF YOU ORDER MORE THAN THAT LIMIT, I’LL EITHER JUST KEEP YOUR MONEY, OR SUBSTITUTE SOMETHING ELSE IF YOU’RE LUCKY LOL. I’m just trying to spread the love, get interesting genetics to a lot people at great prices, and prevent douchey people from buying up everything good and hoarding it or reselling at a much higher price. I don’t mind if people resell in general, it’s just a matter of douchebaggery level.

To find out when cactus become available, follow my blog.

As the season progresses, I will add more seedlings as they size up.

I try to offer a wide variety of quality genetics as cheap as I can by using efficient growing methods and a simple shipping method. Most seedlings are 1/2 to 1 inch tall, but occationally up to about 3 inches tall. Expect anything in that range. I don’t spray habitually, so you may occasionally see bug bites.

I dry seedlings off pretty much for the winter in an unheated greenhouse, and they will often have a red or brown coloration due to water, food or cold stress. Not to worry, it is a temporary protective mechanism of cacti under stress. As soon as they get the resources they need, they’ll green right up and take off. They are shipped bare root in a ziplock bag, with dry vermiculite. The vermiculite moderates moisture and provides some padding.

IF YOU LIVE IN A COLD AREA, I recommend that during cold months, you add a heat pack (from the drop down menu), as well as signature required so that the carrier does not leave the package outside to freeze. I can’t be responsible for plants freezing in transport, but a 72 hour heat pack will usually do the trick. Heat packs are iron based and heavy, and insulation is required, so shipping cost will be more with a heat pack.

A FEW NOTES FOR 2024:

The Ceiniguella Valley Peru is Open pollinated from one tasty Pachanoi.

The Ross Gurau Group is an open pollinated population of Pachanoi, so any one of them could be pollinated by any of the other ones listed. Some of the group are not listed. I think there were 18 all together.

I have mutant seedlings this year! If listed as a mutant, that means they are obviously mutating in some way. No one can know what each one will do, but they will not be normal.

Some cool scopulicola crosses this year. The MP X DR G. are very scopy types, symmetrical and small spined. Many if not most will probalby go pretty much spineless. some of the Dr G x olivia and MP x Olivia are mutoid.

I have a lot of juuls x novo and juuls x reynolds this year, so they will be discounted for the beginning of the season at least. Both are pretty cool and throw an unusually high number of 5 sided cacti, though the average is still 6 sided.

See the planting instructions page for what to do when they arrive.

Consider what the impact might be of giving even one cactus to the right person at the right time. Happy Growing!
